When returning material to us for repairs, it is very important that we assign an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number before the material is shipped to us. The RMA number should be referenced on your shipping papers. This allows us to set up a receiving procedure and identify the material when it is received at our dock. For best results:

2. Provide the following information for each assembly, per these examples:
A. Item Model (or description): Example: MPA,DT-12-250-025/ LB12-5 (or Scanner Ass’y)
B. Item Part Number: Example: 1-2-2651-100-00 (or your own P/N will help)
C. Item Serial Number: Example: 9705000 (Normally, the S/N is on the name tag)
D. Reason for Return: Example: Polygon is dented (be as specific as possible)
E. Your P.O. number: (Ref. your new PO for repair, or original PO, under warranty)
F. Your ‘Ship to’ address: (Advise also to whose attention we should ship & a phone #.)
3. Bev will issue you an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Reference this number
on Your shipper and any other paper work (P.O., etc.) associated with the return activity.
4. Ship the components to: Attn: RMA #

The incoming scanners will be inspected, tested and evaluated for necessary repairs to return them to original, spec condition. A CAR (Corrective Action Report) is produced and emailed to you if the item is under warranty. Warranted items are repaired and return shipped, prepaid.
If the assemblies are not under warranty, you will receive a quotation for the repairs. Actual repairs will not begin until you authorize us to proceed. If you decide to not proceed with repairs, a $140.00 evaluation charge applies for our testing and inspection of the components, plus the return freight. If you do not want the items returned to you, and to avoid freight charges, we can scrap them here. Thanks for your inquiry.
